Boston Advice?

My computer has officially gone bonkers.  It was weird before but this morning it has decided that it doesn't want to turn on.  I'm not sure what this will mean for posts this week so bear with me please!!  In case you're wondering how I'm writing this ... very quickly during my 10 minute break at work : )

Boston!

I am so excited for an actual vacation where I get to travel this weekend it's sooo not even funny.  Here is how our weekend is going to look

Friday - Get up at 3am for a 5:30 flight (that was sooo NOT my idea!)
             Head to Salem, MA
Then proceed to Lexington & Concord, MA
Pre-Family Reunion get together at my cousin's

Saturday - Duck Boat tour (super excited about this after my awesome Chicago boat tour)
Family reunion aka drink during lunch, volleyball/bags/beer, dinner(seafood!)/beer, beer,                              singing/beer

Sunday - Boston Freedom Trail
Dinner somewhere at the north end.

Monday - Doing something ... Plymouth maybe?  I don't remember.

I need some help from Boston aficianados!!!  I was tasked with checking out potential places to eat (Friday lunch & Sunday) and must see things along the Freedom trail.    If I have my way I will definitely have some new museums to share with you : )    So lay it on me ladies!  I'd love to hear about the must sees and especially the must eats of the Boston area.

  1. The Freedom Trail is only 2.5 or 3 miles, so you can do it all in three to four hours. Boston Common (you can also do Cheers in Beacon Hill at this point), Bunker Hill Monument, graves of Samuel Adams/John Hancock/Paul Revere in Granary cemetery, King's Chapel and the grave of Ralph Waldo Emerson, the Old South Meeting House, Faneuil Hall, Paul Revere's house, Bunker Hill monument and a bunch of other things I am forgetting.

I've never had a bad meal in the North End.

I love Boston, three of my best friends lived there (one still does and is getting married in Salem in June), I've been there countless times and enjoyed them all!
