In my continuing attempt to organize my blog, all my various commitments and just my life in general I decided that in 2014 I was going to try one of the really fancy planners. My thought process behind this bigger investment was if I get something cute and make it kinda fun with special colorful pens and stickers than I would be more apt to use it. Plus trying to instill the "when you spend more on it you better darn well use it" mentality. After seeing tons of blog posts about it and having two close friends using it (one who purchased it after I told her how much people were raving about it haha) and loving it I decided that 2014 I was going to splurge on the Erin Condren Life Planner.
So far I have really been enjoying my planner. It's been a great help with organizing my blog topics. There are a ton of pages in the back and I've been able to write out all the dates and topics for those dates that I've come up with so far. It feels good to write them down in pen because they're set in stone then! This helps me not only with the blog topics, in the past I always have remembered things better when I physically wrote them down as opposed to typing.

I've started to work on planning out our weekly meals with my planner. We were doing it before on just a piece of paper we put on the fridge. That works but I'm hoping to be able to plan even more ahead in the future and the little note spaces at the bottom of each day will definitely help. I'm not sure what all I'm going to use that lovely column to the left for. Maybe a week long To Do list? I'm trying it out that way for this week at least, we shall see how it goes!
If you're able to invest and need to have more organization in your life I would definitely recommend the Erin Condren Life Planner. You get to personalize it so it works with your life and what you would use it for plus there is just so much there to help you organize every aspect of your life if you so desire. It's pretty awesome.

  2. Love Erin Condren! I have a desk calendar from there and love it :) And my makeup inspiration is Emma Stone. She has the same skin tone as me and rocks it! Wish I could get her makeup secrets!
